Ganderal, Jun 06 (KNO): There seems to be no end to the power crisis in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district with consumers’ complaining of frequent outages.
Many areas which faced power cuts include Kangan, Prang, Wussan, Chinnar, Kijpora, Gujarpati Prang, Arahama, Anderwan, Bonizil, Saloora, Qamria Chowk, Wanipora and Bamloora.
Residents of these areas said that their respective areas continue to reel under darkness especially during wee hours.
Residents of these areas said their children appearing in the ongoing examinations were the worst sufferers.
“How can we study in the absence of electricity? Instead of resorting to power cuts, the PDD should ensure uninterrupted power supply these days keeping in view the examination session,” students said.
